While my approach is primarily documentary, I always set aside time for family formals and gently guided portraits, keeping them efficient and relaxed so you can get back to enjoying your day.

I photograph weddings across Northern Virginia for couples who want their day documented honestly, without turning it into a performance. My approach is rooted in storytelling and presence: I step back when moments are unfolding naturally, and offer gentle direction when it helps things feel easier, not staged. The result is a wedding gallery that reflects how your day actually felt, the relationships, the energy, and the in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

I’ll guide you through the parts of the day that benefit from structure, like family portraits or couple photos and then step back so the real moments can happen naturally. I’m always watching for the small, meaningful things: the way your people interact, the in-between moments, and the energy of the day as it actually unfolds.
